Disaster Relief Funding And Resources Are Available to Small Business Owners For March 31st, 2023 Storms and Tornadoes

 

Arkansas businesses impacted by the March 31st, 2023 storms and tornadoes are now able to access state and federal resources to recover and rebuild. We have curated these resources for your convenience and will update them as more resources become available.  

STATE RESOURCES 

SBA Little Rock Business Recovery Center (Español)

The U.S. Small Business Administration has opened two Business Recovery Centers to provide a wide range of services to businesses impacted by the sever storms and tornadoes. SBA representatives will meet with each business owner to answer questions about disaster loans and assist with electronic loan applications.

How to Solicit for Disaster Relief Contracts

Businesses that wish to apply for and secure government contracts to aid disaster relief efforts must register with ABEL and ARBUY. Doing so does not guarantee or establish a contract.

FEDERAL RESOURCES 

FEMA -Federal Emergency Management Agency

FEMA offers federal assistance to eligible individuals and families affected by this disaster. 

SBA -U.S. Small Business Administration

The SBA offers assistance in the form of low interest loans to businesses, nonprofit organizations, homeowners, and renters located in regions affected by declared disasters. SBA also provides eligible small businesses and nonprofit organizations with working capital to help overcome the economic injury of a declared disaster.
