This publication offers guidance to parents and caregivers on about how to train children to stay home alone. County extension agents can order hard copies of this publication for distribution, and it can also be presented as a class or meeting for grown-ups. Contact your county extension office to order or to request a class.

Just in Time Parenting Series 

Just In Time Parenting is a series of informational newsletters or handouts with tips and developmental information sent to you "just in time" as the child you love grows. The series begin with prenatal development and goes all the way to age 5. Subscribers to this free series receive monthly information from extension experts from across the US throughout the first year and then every other month from ages 2 to 5. The website also includes links to all 50+ newsletters!
