The Attorney General would be back in charge of reviewing the text of citizen-initiated ballot issues under a bill filed at the state capitol this week. The AG would have to approve the ballot titles before citizen groups could collect voter signatures to qualify their amendments or proposed state laws for the statewide ballot.
