When Arkansas APEX Counselor Tim Hicks received an email from a Contracting Officer at the Little Rock Air Force Base, he immediately requested contact information and set to work getting the registration corrected. After more than 28 emails, numerous phone calls, several Incident Reports and contacting CAGE directly, the SAM registration was updated and White River Flooring was awarded a contract for $34,000 in September to replace flooring on Little Rock AFB.

Arkansas Attorney Tim Griffin told legislators in a Nov. 15 opinion they have the authority to amend citizen-initiated constitutional amendments despite a 1951 Arkansas Supreme Court opinion saying otherwise. His opinion also falls opposite to what Attorney General Mark Pryor told legislators in 2001 in a separate AG's opinion.
