Arkansas APEX Accelerator Success Story: White River Flooring, Inc.

When Arkansas APEX Counselor Tim Hicks received an email from a Contracting Officer at the Little Rock Air Force Base, he immediately requested contact information and set to work getting the registration corrected. After more than 28 emails, numerous phone calls, several Incident Reports and contacting CAGE directly, the SAM registration was updated and White River Flooring was awarded a contract for $34,000 in September to replace flooring on Little Rock AFB.

1951 Court Decision Wrong - Legislators Can Amend Citizen Initiatives, Attorney General Says

Arkansas Attorney Tim Griffin told legislators in a Nov. 15 opinion they have the authority to amend citizen-initiated constitutional amendments despite a 1951 Arkansas Supreme Court opinion saying otherwise. His opinion also falls opposite to what Attorney General Mark Pryor told legislators in 2001 in a separate AG's opinion.

LeadAR Class 20 Culminates in Regal Celebration

LeadAR Class 20 bid a fond farewell to its 18-month journey in regency style with a brunch and ceremony held on November 15, 2024, at the Castle on Stagecoach. LeadAR Class 20 participants gathered with family, friends, and supporters to celebrate the culmination of their leadership development journey that included statewide visits, national and international study tours, and the implementation of a leadership service project.
