Silage-Baleage Demonstration Field Day

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture in Miller County, in conjunction with Texarkana New Holland and Miller County Farm Bureau are offering a Silage/Baleage Demonstration Field Day. It will be held May 12, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Cecil Adcock Farm.
Our featured speaker will be Professor Paul Beck with the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center in Hope, Arkansas, who will speak on round bale silage. Texarkana New Holland will demonstrate how to wrap both tube and individual bales. There will also be equipment from different vendors for your viewing. Lunch will be provided by Miller County Farm Bureau; therefore, if you plan to attend, we need for you to pre-register by calling the Miller County Extension Service at 870-779-3609 or by emailing jcaraway@uada.edu or jsmallwood@uada.edu.
