Master Gardener Basic Training Classes Begin Soon
Red Dirt Master Gardeners are now accepting applications for Basic Training in Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas. This 40-hour program includes training on lawn care, ornamentals, insect control, disease and weed management, soils and plant nutrition, vegetable and flower gardening, home fruit production, irrigation, and much more.TEXARKANA, Ark. –
Red Dirt Master Gardeners in Miller County is now accepting applications for basic training. Anyone interested in becoming a Master Gardener may apply to be accepted into the 40-hour Master Gardener training program offered by the University Of Arkansas Division Of Agriculture. This 40 hour program includes training on lawn care; ornamental trees and shrubs; fire ant and other insects; disease and weed management; soils and plant nutrition; vegetable and flower gardening; home fruit production; irrigation and much more!
If you are interested in attending this year’s classes, they will be held October 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, November 3rd, and 4th, 2015 in Texarkana, AR. All classes will be held from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM. Cost of the training is $125.
