The University of Arkansas' Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Extension faculty works to promote increased prosperity and economic security for individuals and families, farmers, entrepreneurs, and consumers.

The faculty coordinate efforts to address research, education, and extension activities that help people incorporate sound financial management strategies in their daily lives, discover new economic opportunities, develop successful agricultural and nonagricultural enterprises, take advantage of new and consumer-driven markets at both the local and international levels, and understand the implications of public policy on these and other activities.
