Workout Challenge for Halloween

If you are not walking from house to house this Halloween, be sure to get your exercise in while you watch Halloween movies! Make sure to get your family to join in too! Regular physical activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Physical activity can boost your mood, sharpen your focus, reduce your stress, and improve your sleep. So get more active and take on the workout challenge for Halloween! Below are two different challenges: 

 

If you are watching Hocus Pocus…

  • Jog in place for the Opening Scene 
  • Every time the book opens its eye do 5 squats 
  • When the sisters ride on broomsticks do 15 seconds of jumping jacks 
  • Every time Dani cries do 30-second butt kickers 
  • When someone says the word “Halloween” do 20 air punches 
  • When Binx talks do 15-second stretch (pick a body part) 
  • When Billy gets hurt do a 30-second plank 
  • When the sisters get offended do 5 push-ups 

 

 

For any Halloween movie you may be watching…
