ROSE BUD, Ark. – Cattle producers can gain valuable insights from fellow producers and their operations during the March 28 Little Red River Beef Cattle Tour.
“This year’s event will feature a look at three different operations: a commercial cow/calf operation that markets beef from farm to table; one that specializes in bull development and a third which is an intensively managed Brangus operation,” said Brian Haller, White County extension staff chair for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. “We will also have a lunch and learn panel of producers sharing their experiences in growing and marketing farm-raised beef.”
The day begins with registration at 8 a.m. at the Rose Bud First Baptist Church in Rose Bud and the tour begins at 8:45 a.m. On-site registration is $20 per person.
