FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station will present Crush It Arkansas! Winemaking 101 webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Agricultural Experiment Station is the research arm of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
The Crush It Arkansas webinar will overview keys to producing quality wine for amateur or beginning commercial winemakers, said Renee Threlfall, research scientist in the Division of Agriculture’s department of food science.
Threlfall and Amanda Fleming, food science graduate student, will lead the webinar. Threlfall has worked with the Arkansas grape and wine industry for more than 20 years and is director of the Arkansas Quality Wine Program. Fleming has 10 years’ experience as a commercial winemaker.
Registration for the webinar is free but required. The recording for the webinar will be available for 30 days after the event. If you cannot attend the event on the day of the webinar, you can watch the recording.
