Putting Together a Weed Management Program in Row Rice

In this third episode of “In the Weeds”, Dr. Norsworthy discusses the importance of overlaying residual herbicides in rice and weed control difficulties of row rice relative to flooded rice. Some herbicide options are presented that allow control of a broad spectrum of weeds. Palmer amaranth and other weeds typically found in soybean are highlighted as common problems of row rice.
