Turfgrass in Arkansas

Arkansas is uniquely situated in what is called the ‘transition zone’ so both warm-season and cool-season turfgrass can be grown. The University of Arkansas System's Division of Agriculture is working to generate techniques to improve turfgrass production and management for golf courses, sports fields, and commercial and residential lawns.
