Arkansas Corn Standardized County Hybrid Trials

The Arkansas Corn Standardized County Hybrid Trials is a collaborative effort between growers, County Extension agents, Extension specialists, and industry representatives to increase knowledge on selected hybrids that are being evaluated in the University of Arkansas Corn Hybrid testing program (http://arkansas-variety-testing.uark.edu/). In the trials, producers followed their normal production practices they use on their farms. The cooperation of all producers mentioned in this publication is appreciated. Producers donate time, equipment and hired labor to make these trials possible.

Rice Research Verification Program (RRVP)

The Rice Research Verification Program started in 1983 and the Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board helps fund the program through a rice checkoff program.

2020 is the 37th year for the program.  Through the 37 years, over 494 rice fields have been enrolled in the program.  The five year (2014-2018) average yield for the rice verification fields is 183 bushels per acre.  The state average for that same 5 year period is 164 bushels per acre.
